The Kitchens Project: Inspirations

Part of the inspiration behind “The Kitchens Project” was my family’s connections to food and cooking.  A great aunt owned a restaurant (where Bresca is today), where my mother waitressed, my grandfather was a bar owner and my great-grandfather worked in beverage distribution.  Of course being half-Italian, this also meant I was surrounded by amazing home-cooked meals.
